Who we are

Aquaries Performance Coaching (APC) runs this website, where players and parents find and book approved football coaches. APC decides how the information on this site is used, and you can contact us about it by email or phone at the end of this page.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to run your account and your sessions.

• Everyone with an account: your name, email address and password (kept scrambled, so nobody can read it), and the privacy policy version you accepted.
• Customers: the sessions and packages you book, what you paid and any refunds, your messages with coaches, the reviews you leave and any problem you report.
• Coaches: your mobile number, address, date of birth and application answers, your public profile and photo, your services, venues and availability, your messages, and what you have been paid.
• Anyone searching for a coach: the postcode or town you type, which is used once to find coaches near it and is not kept.
• Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or keep your full card number.

Why we use it

To run your account and your bookings, to take payments and pay coaches, to answer you when you contact us, and to meet our legal and tax duties.

To keep everyone safe, APC can read messages between customers and coaches.

Who we share it with

A coach sees your first name and your bookings with them. A customer sees a coach's public profile, never their contact details or address. We never sell your information.

These companies handle information for us, only to run the site:

• Stripe, for payments, refunds and paying coaches.
• Supabase, which hosts our database and sign in, in London.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the website.
• postcodes.io, which turns a postcode or town you search for into a place on the map.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account we remove your name, your contact details and a coach's profile, photo and private details.

We keep the records of bookings and payments that the law requires us to keep, and messages, reviews and reported problems, which are part of other people's records too. They no longer show your name. How long they are kept is still to be confirmed by APC.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account closed. Signed in, you can do each of these yourself under Account details: Change my details, Download my data and Close my account.

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, contact us first. You can also complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The site only stores what it needs to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
